Frisco ISD Students Honored by Frisco Heritage Association (April, 2008)
Students from elementary through high school were honored for their winning entries in the annual Frisco Heritage Association Art and Essay Competition. This year's theme was heritage and students were told their works could either be about Frisco's heritage or their own family heritage. This provided a very international flair to the event with students choosing traditional Texas themes such as railroads and cowboys to art and essays that show the multicultural face of Frisco today.
