Spain, Kazanski Honored by TASSP (June, 2008)

The Texas Association of Secondary School Principals has announced the Outstanding Principals and Assistant Principals of the Year at its annual summer convention and among this year’s honorees are Randy Spain, principal of Centennial High School and Jim Kazanski, assistant principal at Staley Middle School, both representing Region 10.

Spain joined Frisco Independent School District in 1998 and opened Centennial High School in 2003 and Kazanski joined FISD in 2002 at Staley. Kazanski was recently named principal of the Acker Special Programs Center.

“We are very proud of these two excellent administrators. We are happy that their peers recognize their contributions to education. Both of these men have contributed to FISD’s continued success,” said Rick Reedy, FISD superintendent.
