Two Frisco Students Take Top Honors at Regional Art Show (April, 2008)

Two Frisco High School AP Art students won top honors in their category at the Young American Talent Regional High School Art Competition at the El Centro College Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery on Saturday, March 29th.

Brandon Strait’s mixed media design and Fernando Alvarez’s drawing were recognized at the awards ceremony.  Nine Frisco High School students with 12 works were selected for the exhibition, which is sponsored by the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts art guild. The event was held at El Centro this year because the high school is under renovation.
