Frisco ISD Students Display Artwork at TASB/TASA Conference

Six FISD students from three district schools were featured in the Texas Art Education Association’s annual exhibition at the Texas Association of School Boards and Superintendents Conference at the Dallas Convention Center in October. Chosen for the exhibition were Sophia Miao from Curtsinger Elementary, Megan Taylor and Anitha Kuttemperoor from Wester Middle School and Tracey Stafford, Melissa Ikono and Cristina Mazutis from Frisco High School.

Their works represented both the district’s and the state’s exemplary art programs.

Teachers of these students are Laverne Forwark at Curtsinger Elementary, Tiffany Rawlings formerly at Wester MS and June Waggener at Frisco H.S.
